My name is Mike. I’m a lifelong Catholic. Welcome to my corner of the world. I’ll be posting personal research, theology/philosophy content – always from a Catholic perspective, and more fun stuff. I am not a priest. I am not a theologian. I’m just some guy who enjoys spreading the Gospel and inviting others to encounter Christ. We must go forth and glorify the Lord by our lives.

Jesus Christ is God. He is the second person of the trinity. He is the Son of God and the Son of Man. He died for our sins on the cross. He conquered sin and death. He is the Messiah. He claims to be all these things. Some scholars read the Bible and conclude other things. That is a post for another time.
The topic at hand is: Who do you say that I am? That may be the most important question we will ever be asked. Christ asks this question to his disciples in Matthew 16. Some say John the Baptist. Some say Elijah. Unfortunately, many people today say Jesus was some moral teacher (if he even existed – which he did). “But who do you say that I am?” (Matt 16:15). Peter steps up. Peter takes action and leads the disciples, he leads us to Christ. “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.” (Matt 16:16). Peter gave the right answer.
So I ask you this: Who do you say that Jesus is? Hint: Peter gave the right answer.
